Foxi Moxi is an indie pop/rock band from Austin, Texas. Their sound is upbeat and guitar-driven, with a focus on melody and simplicity. The current lineup formed when brothers Preston Ashby (lead vocals, guitar) and Forrest Ashby (drums, backing vocals) connected with Ben Aiken (bass) through an ad on Craigslist.

From 2015–2020, Foxi Moxi experimented with their sound as they released several demos and performed around Texas. During that time, the group followed a sonic arc similar to the Black Keys, starting as a bluesy duo before adding bass and then moving toward alternative rock and pop. The trio toyed with different instrumentation and genres, flirting with synthesizers and even collaborating on a hip-hop project.

In their debut LP expected to release in 2024, Foxi Moxi has removed the clutter with deceptively simple songs built on energetic grooves, weathered lyrics, and hopeful melodies. The result is music that will feel refreshingly relatable but still surprise you.
